Services

Services

Finding a factory is not the hard part. Fixing the specification, negotiating the price, correcting samples, watching mass production, inspecting, shipping, clearing customs and delivering — we take that whole sequence on as your single point of contact in Japan.

We can manage the entire process from planning to delivery, or support only the stages you need.

How we work

We agree where our work starts and ends
before anything begins

The most common starting point is not knowing how much can be handed over. Our scope can be cut stage by stage.

The whole process

  • One point of contact from specification through to delivery in Japan
  • We coordinate the factory, the inspection body and the freight forwarder
  • Progress is shared through regular reports and photos and video taken on site
  • When something goes wrong, we are the ones negotiating

Selected stages only

  • Factory sourcing only, inspection only, or freight only
  • You can keep the factory you already work with
  • If you have staff on this, we cover only the stages you cannot
  • You can switch to full management later
Service Details

What each service covers

For each one: the scope, what you receive, and the kind of inquiry it usually starts from.

OEM / ODM & Product Development

From an idea or an existing product to something a factory can actually build.

Scope

  • Turning a concept, sketch or reference product into a specification
  • Choosing materials and structure against your target cost
  • Arranging samples and running the revisions
  • Fixing the mass-production specification and handing it to the factory

What you receive

  • A written product specification
  • Samples and a record of the revisions
  • The conditions required to move into production

Typical inquiry

“We know what we want to make, but not how to write a specification.”

Contract Manufacturing & Production Management

We manage production at the overseas factory from the Japanese side.

Scope

  • Building the production schedule and handling daily contact with the factory
  • Checking the specification and resolving mismatched assumptions
  • Tracking progress and flagging delays while there is still time to act
  • Negotiating when defects or wrong specifications appear

What you receive

  • A production schedule
  • Regular progress reports with photos and video from the site
  • A record of what happened and what was done about it

Typical inquiry

“We cannot place our own staff overseas, but we need production managed.”

Factory & Supplier Sourcing

We look for factories that match the product, price, volume and quality you need.

Scope

  • Setting the conditions: what, how many, at what price, by when
  • Identifying candidates and verifying capacity and responsiveness
  • Comparing several and explaining what each is suited to
  • Visiting or auditing the factory where that is needed

What you receive

  • A comparison of candidate factories
  • Quotations from each
  • Our reasoning for the recommendation

Typical inquiry

“We only know one factory and have no way to tell whether the price is fair.”

Cost Reduction & Negotiation

We do not simply push for a lower number. We look at how the product is made.

Scope

  • Opening up the quotation: materials, processing, tooling, packing, freight
  • Reviewing materials, specification and production method for alternatives
  • Negotiating directly with the factory
  • Modeling what changes if the volume or the lead time moves

What you receive

  • A breakdown of the quotation and a comparison
  • Options for reducing cost, with their effect on quality stated

Typical inquiry

“We need to bring the unit cost down without losing quality.”

Quality Control & Inspection

Checking at the end is too late. We check before, during and after production.

Scope

  • Turning the quality expected in Japan into a specification the factory can work to
  • Verifying materials, processes and tooling before mass production starts
  • Checking the line during production and sharing photos and video
  • Pre-shipment inspection, and corrective action when criteria are not met

What you receive

  • Agreed inspection criteria
  • An inspection report
  • A record of the corrective action taken

Typical inquiry

“Quality at the factory we already use is not stable.”

Overseas Sourcing

Not only finished goods — components and raw materials as well.

Scope

  • Setting the specification for the component or material required
  • Finding suppliers and verifying that supply is stable
  • Comparing against your existing supplier
  • Proposing a second source where you want to spread the risk

What you receive

  • Candidate suppliers and a comparison
  • Samples arranged
  • The conditions needed for continuous supply

Typical inquiry

“We depend on a single supplier and that worries us.”

Export, Import & Logistics

We arrange everything from packing instructions through freight, customs and delivery within Japan.

Scope

  • Specifying packing that survives the journey
  • Arranging sea or air freight
  • Preparing the documentation required for the goods
  • Customs clearance and domestic delivery

What you receive

  • Freight arranged, with progress reported
  • The documents required, prepared
  • A single contact if a problem appears after arrival

Typical inquiry

“We have never imported and do not know what is required.”

Products & Capabilities

We are not limited to a fixed list of product categories.

Scope

  • Consumer and lifestyle goods, outdoor and safety products, industrial goods
  • OEM, ODM and own-brand products
  • Food and raw materials, starting from what import requires
  • Products not on the list: tell us and we will give you an honest answer

What you receive

  • A straight answer on whether it can be made
  • If it cannot, the reason why

Typical inquiry

“We do not even know whether this can be made overseas.”

Getting started

From your first inquiry to project launch

The specification does not have to be fixed. We start from the volume, target price and lead time you have in mind.

01

Inquiry

Tell us what you want to make, the volume, the target price and the lead time. Drawings or reference photos make the feasibility check much faster.

02

Review of feasibility

We work out where and how it can realistically be made. Sometimes the conclusion at this stage is that the project is not feasible under the current conditions.

03

Factory selection & quotation

We select factories that fit the requirements and obtain quotations, then present the cost and the plan after comparing them.

The initial consultation and preliminary feasibility discussion are free of charge. Where specific factory research, design and development, prototyping or on-site support is required, we confirm the content and provide a quotation in advance.
